The yearly Yasugawa Shotengai summer festival “Engawa-ichi” takes place on August 6 and 7.
Various amusements can be enjoyed, such as clowns making balloon art, the “wish upon a star” event where visitors can write down their wishes on paper and hang them on bamboo grass, “Music Night,” where local bands perform, as well as shops selling various foods and goods.
The festival takes place between 7pm and 9pm.
