Every year during summer, an andon (paper lantern) display takes place in Yasugawa Shotengai.
The design of the andon are different every year, giving everyone something to look forward to!
This display is held between around July 20 to August 20.
During Obon from August 13 to August 15, the lantern will be lit and will be displayed until 9pm.
Wind chimes are attached to the andon, making it resonate with crisp, refreshing sounds.
